KKR vs RCB IPL : Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 30th match of Indian Premier League 2021 in Ahmedabad on Monday, 3 May. KKR vs RCB Stats Preview
Kolkata Knight Riders have had a poor first half of IPL 2021 as they have only two wins from seven matches. Their batting have let them down in most of the matches. Their top order batsmen are struggling to give aggressive starts and it put a lot of pressure on lower order and resultant the likes of Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell couldn’t bat freely. Captain Eoin Morgan has to lead from front and youngster Shubman Gill too needs to do better in the opening and in bowling Pat Cummins and Prasidh Krishna have to continue bowling well with the new as well as old ball.
On the other side, Royal Challengers Bangalore have five wins from seven matches but they suffered big losses in two matches which can be a cause of concern. In big run chase their batting is crumbling and captain Virat Kohli too hasn’t looked at his best and the likes of Devdutt Padikkal and Glenn Maxwell too have looked off colour in last couple of matches and AB de Villiers needs to work on his consistency. In bowling Mohammad Siraj who is bowling well should be used more in death overs and Harshal Patel too needs to work on his death overs bowling as he has been very expensive in last a few matches.
