Ishan Kishan MI: After having lost two games in a row, the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) are up against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the today IPL match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Mumbai Indians have one again been the slow starters in another edition of the IPL as they have won just two of their five games so far. However, after having completed their difficult Chennai-leg of games, the Rohit Sharma-led team will be hoping for the change in fortunes at this new venue in Delhi.
MI vs RR Today IPL Match: Ishan Kishan in MI Playing 11?
The biggest worry for the Mumbai Indians this season is the poor form of Ishan Kishan who had a breakthrough performance last year in the UAE. In 5 matches so far, Ishan has scored only 73 runs with a best of 28 against DC. The left-hander was the leading run-getter for MI last season where he smashed a total of 516 runs in 14 matches at a strike-rate of 145.76. Therefore, Mumbai Indians have taken a big call on dropping Ishan Kishan and have included Nathan Coulter-Nile in the playing XI for this game against RR.

Will Hardik Pandya bowl today?
Hardik Pandya not performing with the bat and not fit to bowl has been another vital setback for the Mumbai Indians in this tournament so far. The MI all-rounder has just scored 36 runs in 5 matches and due to an injury, he hasn’t been able to contribute with the ball. For Mumbai Indians to do well in this tournament, the trio of Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard will have to fire on all cylinders with the bat on consistent basis and they can do the same on the batting-friendly Delhi wicket as they will be playing their next four league games on the same venue.
