SA vs PAK Stats : South Africa will take on Pakistan in the second ODI match at The Wanderers in Johannesburg on 4 April. The hosts will look to bounce back after losing the first match and on the other side, Pakistan will aim to seal the series with yet another good performance.
SA vs PAK Stats Preview
South Africa’s performance in the first ODI match wasn’t up to their standard. First their top order crumbled against the new ball and then their bowlers too didn’t step up under pressure. Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Anrich Nortje etc had a top game but the likes of Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada and Tabraiz Shamsi have to deliver. On the other side, Pakistan did put up a good show with bat and ball. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Hasnain were outstanding with the new ball, Faheem Ashraf stepped up in middle overs and then in batting captain Babar Azam and opener Imam ul Haq did well but their middle order batsmen need to bat better under pressure and they can’t play loose shots if the match goes in their favour else they can lose from any position and the likes of Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman need to deliver else their place in the team will be questioned.
