Fin Allen six: As New Zealand takes on Bangladesh in the ongoing 2nd T20I, it was RCB’s recent buy Fin Allen who booked a spot in the highlight reel with a belligerent shot. The specialist opener was facing the first ball of pacer Taskin Ahmed. Fin Allen welcomed Ahmed in grand manner as he smashed the ball over the square leg region and out of the stadium.

Plenty of fans within the ground were stunned with the sheer power and timing of that shot by Allen. Him along with Martin Guptill established a partnership of 36 in four overs before losing the first wicket. It was Fin Allen who was dismissed for a brisk 17 runs from 10 balls, which comprised of two boundaries and a six. Though his stay was short, he must have managed to impress the RCB faithful with his fearless brand of cricket. Another shot which was quick to get adulation was a reverse sweep to spinner Nasum Ahmed in the first over of the match.

Talking about the total score, New Zealand are currently at 173 for the fall of 5 wickets in 17.5 overs. Rain has intervened and stopped play for the time being, and it could lead to fewer overs but fewer runs to chase for Bangladesh in the second innings.
