Indian captain Virat Kohli yet again missed the opportunity to score an international hundred as he was dismissed for 66 runs in the IND vs ENG 2nd ODI in Pune. However, KL Rahul did smash a remarkable hundred while Rishabh Pant played a terrific innings of 77 runs off 40 balls as India posted a massive 336 for 6 in their 50 overs. India have already taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series against England.

Virat Kohli accidentally hits Prasidh Krishna
The England opening duo of Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow continued with their explosive batting just from where they left in the first India vs England ODI match. During the 6th over of the chase, Virat Kohli was seen throwing the ball back to Prasidh Krishna while the bowler was going for his run-up. But the ball accidentally hit the pacer on the arm while he was turned the other way round.

This is a must-win clash for England as the 2019 World Cup winners desperately need to win this ENG vs IND 2nd ODI to keep themselves alive in this three-match series.
England are playing in this game without their regular skipper in Eoin Morgan who has been ruled out for the entire series with a finger injury and thus. Jos Buttler is captaining the national team. Apart from Morgan, Sam Billings was also ruled out of the second ODI versus India after he suffered an injury in the 1st game while fielding and Dawid Malan has been included in the playing XI in his absence. Reece Topley has also replaced Mark Wood in the second ODI.
