India vs England Test Series: The IND vs ENG Test Series is on its way and its sure to make a wave across the cricketing world. The craze for the 5-day matches is back in this part of the world and it is no surprise that the reason for this paradigm shift in the choices of the country’s public is the recent epic series win against Australia that too on Australian soil. IND Squad: Virat Kohli has returned to play the role of the skipper of the Indian side. ENG Squad: The captain of the England team will be Joe Root. The batsmen in the team is Rory Burns, Zack Crawley, Dan Lawrence, Dom Sibley. Jos Butler as the wicketkeeper of the team and Ben Foakes as the reserve wicketkeeper. All-rounders in the team are Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes The line up of bowlers include Stuart Broad, Olly Stone, Jofra Archer and James Anderson. The tournament is scheduled to start from 5th February and the last match will be played till 8th March 2021. There are 4 test matches in the series, with 2 matches each played on the same grounds. The first and second test matches will be played in MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. The last 2 matches will take place in Motera stadium in Ahmedabad. The locations for the test matches are restricted to only 2 stadiums. This has been planned to restrict the movement of players and team staff in congruence with the ongoing COVID-19 protocol. The test matches will be followed by T20I from the 12th to the 20th of March. The venue for the T20 internationals has also been kept in Motera stadium, Ahmedabad. The strategic move is part of the precautionary measure to safeguard us from the ongoing global pandemic.
