Daryl Mitchell takes a one-hand stunner
The incident happened in the sixth over of the match. New Zealand bowler Scott Kuggeleijn bowled a length ball, which curved away lately from the batsman Haider Ali. The batsman opened up the bat and the ball took the outside edge and went flying over to the cover-point region. Daryl Mitchell, who was placed there ran back and jumped backward to complete a one-handed stunner. He was on the field as a replacement for injured Martin Guptill. It is safe to say that with Mitchell, they didn’t miss Guptill in the field even slightly.

Daryl Mitchell needs one more catch to take the world record for most catches in an innings by a substitute fielder.
He currently shares it with a Scotsman by the name of Michael Leask.

Pakistan breaks the jinx
Pakistan team was going through a rough patch lately. They lost the first two T20Is terribly and were looking to pay their revenge back on the 3rd and last T20I at Napier. And rightly so, they went all guns blazing in both departments of the game. Faheem, Rauf, and Shaheen starred with the ball as they picked up 3, 2, and 2 wickets respectively. In the batting department, it was the wicket-keeper Rizwan who played a match winning innings. There were severe criticisms against Rizwan as he was selected as an opener in the T20I format. Some stated that he wasn’t suited for this format owing to his poor strike rate and poor PSL numbers. But in the 3rd T20I, he shut down all his critics with a match-winning knock. He scored 89 runs from 59 balls before falling to Jamieson.
