STU vs BAY Dream11: For the ninth matchday of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich travels west to take on Stuttgart at the Mercedes-Benz-Arena. Stuttgart have had a bittersweet start to the league this season with just 1 loss so far, at the hands of Freiburg, but they have also only won 2 games so far against lowly Mainz and Hertha Berlin. Which means they have drawn 5 games, including their last 4 games. Their last game was an intense 3-3 draw away to Hoffenheim and only a 94th-minute equalizer pulled them out of what looked like a definite loss. Meanwhile, Bayern has been excellent as usual, sitting atop the table with 6 wins out of 8. They drew their last game 1-1 against Werder Bremen and will feel they could’ve done better to grab all 3 points. The Bavarians will be aware that all their title rivals face relatively easier games and win is the only option.

STU vs BAY Starting XI, Team News
A) Stuttgart Team News
Injury Report, Unavailability: Stuttgart does have an injury crisis with main-man, Nicolas Gonzalez suffering a knee injury which will see him ruled out of this fixture. Erik Thommy, Hamadi Al Ghaddioui, Maxime Awoudja and Momo Cisse are other names that won’t be fit to play any part in the game.
Doubtful: Pellegrino Matarazzo has no doubtful players for the STU vs BAY Dream11 Prediction.
Expected changes: We might see more or less the same starting lineup that featured against Hoffenheim. Sasa Kalajdzic is likely to replace the injured Nicolas Gonzalez upfront, playing ahead of Daniel Didavi and Gonzalo Castro. Silas Wamangituka scored in the previous game and has very good overall, should keep his place in the lineup, as should Marc-Oliver Kempf. Pascal Stenzel should replace Konstantinos Mavropanos in a defensive 3.

Gregor Kobel (GK)
Pascal Stenzel
Waldemar Anton
Marc-Oliver Kempf

B) Bayern Munich Team News
Injury Report, Unavailability: Bayern Munich too has injury woes, albeit not as bad as Stuttgart. Star-men Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich are out for at least the next month with an ankle and ligament issue respectively. Bouna Sarr is also sidelined with a hip injury and will play no part in this game.
Doubtful: Corentin Tolisso has returned from injury but it remains to be seen if he s rushed back into the starting lineup or will he only make an appearance off the bench.
Expected changes: Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich’s injury, although significant, Bayern have sufficient cover, with Lucas Hernandez and Javier Martinez deputizing at right-back and centre-mid respectively. The ever-formidable front-4 of Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski are all available and ready to take on Stuttgart.
BAY Playing 11 (probable):
Manuel Neuer (GK)
Benjamin Pavard
Jerome Boateng
David Alaba
Lucas Hernandez
Leon Goretzka
Javier Martinez
Leroy Sane
Thomas Muller
Serge Gnabry
Robert Lewandowski
STU vs BAY Today Match Prediction: It is no surprise that the power-houses of Germany have been placed as the clear favourites of this tie. Skybet and Paddy Power are offering odds of 1/4 on a win for the away side but odds of 17/2 and 15/2 respectively on the home side pulling off an upset. A draw in the STU vs BAY Today Match Prediction is also deemed equally unlikely with odds of 11/2. Stuttgart will look to take confidence from the fact that they have only lost a game all season and somehow always manage to avoid defeat. However, avoiding defeat against the likes of a rampant Bayern Munich is going to be a very difficult task.
