VIL vs VAL Dream11 Prediction: Villarreal welcome Valencia to the Estadio de la Ceramica for the sixth round of La Liga. Villarreal will be happy with their results so far, after winning two games and managing a draw away to Atletico Madrid. Their only loss of the season so far has come at the Camp Nou when they lost 4-0 to Barcelona. Currently sitting in sixth place, Villarreal will be quite positive going into the next game despite having a couple of injury concerns. Valencia, on the other hand, will not be happy with their position after losing games to Real Betis at home and Celta Vigo which, retrospectively, they should’ve won. They also shared the spoils when they faced Huesca at home which now sees them sit in tenth place. Even though they are just one point behind Villarreal, the Los Murcielagos have dropped points where they should usually be winning. Being the home team and having the better form, Villarreal will consider themselves the favourites and will step into the Estadio de la Ceramica as the superior side. The Yellow Submarines also played a game during the international break to keep their momentum going by beating Orihuela 2-0 at home.

Who will win today’s match?
On paper, it should be a rather close game and may even favour Valencia, but based on current form, Villarreal is definitely the better side. The Yellow Submarine have odds at 1.66 to win while The Bats are at 5.25 which will concern their fans. A lesser-known fact is that this is a derby game, titled the ‘Derbi de la Comunitat’ which means the stakes will be higher than before. Another point in Villarreal’s favour is that their manager, Unai Emery, is very experienced and despite a poor spell at Arsenal, has won a lot of trophies at Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain, including three Europa League titles. As far as Valencia are concerned, Javi Garcia has won only one trophy which was the Segunda B in 2007. It will be a tough game for Valencia but they need to get their act together if they wish to finish in the top 4 or even the top 6 this time and when better to start than against their rivals. Captain options
Paco Alcacer – With Gerard Moreno’s injury, it will be up to Paco Alcacer to produce the goals for Villarreal. He has had a great start to the season, scoring 3 times in 5 appearances with a brace against Alaves. He hasn’t been his best at Villarreal having made only 19 appearances since his transfer from Borussia Dortmund, but this start to the season suggests there’s more to come from the Spaniard.
Maximiliano Gomez – The 24-year-old has had a flying start to the season with 3 goals in 5 appearances so far. He hasn’t missed a minute of football for Valencia so far and has only failed to score in 2 games this season. Javi Garcia will look to the likes of him to turn their fortunes around.
Daniel Parejo – The former Valencia man, Dani Parejo, left their fans in a rage after his surprise transfer to their cross-town rivals after nearly a decade with them. He was quite an influential midfielder for The Bats, scoring and assisting 63 times each. He will now look to replicate the same form for his new club.
X-factors (differential picks)
Goncalo Guedes – Often one of the first names on the teamsheet for both club and country, Guedes’ performances have been good but not great. He seems to be a very promising player but often fails to deliver. He is yet to get off the mark this season but will look to change all that. He will strike a partnership with the likes of Gomez and Kang-In Lee to get Valencia’s season going.
Samuel Chukwueze – The Nigerian international has been good for Villarreal so far but he will need to step up as he will turn 22 next year. This season hasn’t seen him find the net yet but he has had an assist in their 2-1 win to Eibar. Scoring against Valencia will be a great way for him to kick start his season.
Kang-In Lee – Kang-In Lee got promoted to the first team last season at the age of (then) 18. He has kicked off this season with 2 assists already and has been one of their better players. The South Korean will look to announce his arrival to the La Liga with a huge 2020/21 season and is one to look out for.
