BHA vs MUN Dream11

BHA vs MUN Dream11 Prediction: Manchester United make the sea-side trip to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton & Hove Albion for the second time in just five days after facing off with them in the Premier League. The last meeting between the two sides was dramatic to say the least. After conceding a late equalizer in the 90+3rd minute of the game, it looked like a draw was confirmed, until Manchester United were awarded a penalty after the final whistle was blown in the 90+5th minute. A quick VAR check later, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed their victory with literally the last kick of the ball, thus ending Brighton’s three-game winning streak. Brighton and their fans will feel very hard done by and have a shot at redemption as early as this week. Manchester United got their first Premier League win of the season which will serve as a much-needed confidence booster, while Brighton will look to bounce back after losing in such a heartbreaking fashion. The Seagulls have picked up only one win in the league but faced Manchester United and Chelsea in the span of just three games. United will look to build their 2020/21 campaign upon this win and only get better, but a vengeance-seeking Brighton will be a very difficult hurdle to cross.

Who will win today’s match?

Manchester United are poised to win at 17/20 but it won’t be that easy for them. Despite winning the game and scoring 3 goals, they will know that their performance was not even close to good enough. Brighon dominated the game for large parts and had 5 shots hit the woodwork. Luck was hugely in United’s favour and it may not be this time. Their performance so far has been quite poor in all three games, whereas Brighton have shown promising signs but are left with two losses in three games as they had the misfortune of playing two of the top 6 sides in their opening fixtures. Graham Potter is unlikely to change anything in their blueprint but will ask for a little more cutting edge this time. They could have sealed with game much earlier on if not for the crossbar and the Seagulls will know that they are on the right path. An upset is very much on the cards as a place in the next round is at stake. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer likes to rotate his squad between different cup games but it remains to be seen how many changes he makes for this game. Check out our BHA vs MUN Dream11 Match Prediction here!

BHA vs MUN Dream11 Teams

Captain options

Marcus Rashford – Marcus Rashford is set to start on the left flank due to poor squad depth. On the weekend, he scored an incredible solo goal against Brighton that put Manchester United in the lead. That goal will serve as a confidence booster for him as he has been sub-par since his return from injury, late last season. He also came off the bench and scored against Luton and will look to find the net for a third consecutive game.

Leandro Trossard – The Belgian had an incredibly frustrating game against United as he hit the crossbar 3 times which would have otherwise sealed the game for them. He will be back again and Solskjaer’s men will know that they won’t get as lucky as last time as Trossard terrorized their defence on the last outing.

Bruno Fernandes – Brighton will view the Portuguese as a nemesis of sorts as he bagged a goal and an assist when the two sides played each other on the weekend. He will want to keep it up and will definitely be the focal point of the pitch with all of United’s attacks coming through him.

X-factors (differential picks) Bottom of Form

Donny van de Beek – Donny van de Beek signed for Manchester United in the summer from Ajax and will be in the starting lineup for this game. He will be frustrated as he hasn’t started either Premier League games and with average performances from the likes of Paul Pogba, van de Beek can stake his claim for a start in the league. He already has 1 goal after coming off the bench this season.

Neal Maupay – Maupay left the pitch in tears during their last game despite scoring the opening goal as it was his offence that led to United’s penalty decision in the 90+5th minute. But he will be back with a sense of vengeance and will love to have the last laugh as he takes his side to the next round of the Carabao Cup.

Mason Greenwood – The youngster has not had the best few weeks, as he faced humiliation due to his actions with the England squad, had a goal ruled out against Brighton and it seems he will not receive an England call-up for the international break. Also, if things go as planned, he may even be replaced by Jadon Sancho on the right. But he is young and is already on a goal and assists this season which came against Luton Town in the same competition. He will be fired up to show his maturity and will be in the hunt for a goal as well.
