WBA vs CHE Dream11 Prediction: Chelsea travels to the Hawthorns to take on a depleted West Bromwich Albion side on the third matchday of the season. Slaven Bilic’s side has had a season to forget as they have lost both their Premier League fixtures so far – 3-0 to Leicester and 5-2 to Everton. In the Carabao Cup, despite beating Harrogate in the fourth round, they succumbed to Brentford, losing to them on penalties after a 2-2 draw at the end of regular time. Chelsea, however, has had a great start to the season despite Liverpool putting a dampener on the second matchday by beating them 2-0. They beat Brighton 3-1 on the opening matchday of the season and responded to the loss against Liverpool by thrashing Barnsley 6-0 with a largely second-string side in the Carabao Cup, with new signing – Kai Havertz, bagging a hattrick. They will now look to exploit West Brom’s vulnerabilities and inevitable lack of confidence at this point, to look for their second win in the League and further stake their claim as the best club in England. As for West Brom, when a team is in such poor form, the last thing they’d want is to face one of the best teams in the league.

Who will win today’s match?
Chelsea has odds of 4/11 to win and rightly so as it is very unlikely that West Brom gets any sort of result against the Blues. West Brom has conceded 8 goals in the Premier League so far, scoring just 2. At this stage, Slaven Bilic’s men need to go back to the drawing board, regroup and figure out the problem. And at a time like this, they need to be playing easier opponents to gain some confidence and luckily for them, they have a relatively easier run of fixtures after their game against Chelsea. In this game, Slaven Bilic would be more than happy with a promising performance from the club which they can then take to sides like Southampton and Burnley, who they face next. A win or even a draw for West Brom can be a turning point in their season but will need a miracle to pull off. The story for the visitors is quite different as nothing but a win will be good enough for a side like Chelsea and the quality they have. With experienced players like Thiago Silva, Timo Werner and N’Golo Kante in the side, Chelsea fans will demand a convincing win from their team. Check out our WBA vs CHE Dream11 Match Prediction.

Captain options
Timo Werner – The German has not yet gotten off the mark for Chelsea yet, but he couldn’t find a better opponent to face right now than a club that is leaking goals to start. Having played against the best teams in the world with Leipzig, Werner will be confident going up against West Brom and will look to ask questions of their defence in a bid to score his first Chelsea goal.
Kai Havertz – Having scored 3 goals against Barnsley after poor performances for Chelsea, the former Bayer Leverkusen player will want to replicate that form in the Premier League as well. He should have gotten all the confidence he needed and will now link-up with fellow German, Timo Werner and light up the league.
Grady Diangana – Despite missing the penalty that led to West Brom’s elimination from the Carabao Cup, Diangana is still one of their most promising players. His goal against Everton, last weekend, came from an excellent piece of skill shown by the youngster to open the scoring. Having signed from West Ham, he will want to start performing against clubs like Chelsea to be considered as one of the best up and coming talents in the Premier League.
X-factors (differential picks)
Matheus Pereira – Matheus Periera was the second goal-scorer against Everton and the one who provided Diangana with the assist. Now with the absence of Hal Robson-Kanu, he will have to step-up and provide goals and assists for West Brom. He also had a massive 20 assists last season and would love to have the same numbers in the Premier League as well.
Mason Mount – The youngster clearly has the trust of Frank Lampard and he will want to repay that with some goals and assists. With Christian Pulisic out injured, Mount needs to use this time to show the fans and the manager that he is good enough to start consistently along with the big-name signings.
Ben Chilwell – Having signed from Leicester City for a lot of money, Chilwell celebrated his debut against Barnsley by getting an assist. He had a great season last year and now he gets to play alongside the likes of Thiago Silva, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz. Despite playing defence, he gets forward a lot and isn’t afraid of taking a shot at goal himself or crossing the ball dangerously into the box. If West Brom plays a 3 man defence, Chilwell would love to get in behind the wing-back and whip in some lovely crosses.
