Sweden vs England
With every win, England is getting closer to bring Football back in their home but the path to glory has some obstacles and the first one is Sweden in the quarter final. England might have deserved to win against an unorganized Colombia in the Round of 16 Match but in the end they were lucky that fate handed them their victory. England would try to wrap this game up within ninety minutes by starting to attack early in this game. However, this task will not be an easy one because Sweden could be anything but no unorganized. They have been clinical in their tactics with each and every player doing their job in their respective position on the formation has got the job done. There were speculations if they could make a World Cup appearance after missing out on three consecutive world cups with Zlatan, they have reached the quarter final without him. They may start this game as the underdogs but it would be foolish to scratch their name off so early.
Every team has got a few key players who manage the entire game and even change the direction of the game and in these star filled teams there are more than a few players who can decide the game for either of the teams. Let’s have a look at them.
Sweden Key Players:
Marcus Berg – Though he is yet to get off the mark in this world cup but his goal scorining abilities are not to be doubted. He has scored 98 goals in 137 appearances and it is just remains a matter of time before he find his connection with the ball. England has to be very careful with this player because he may be out of form but if he finds it in this game, it could end England’s world cup dream.
Emil Forsberg – The presence of Emil Forsberg in the midfield, allows Sweden to switch the gears in the game from defense to attack. He is technically sound when it comes to defending and his vision often creates chances for attack for his team. In this game as well, it can be depicted that a sudden counter attack in the game could change things around.

England Key Players:
Kieran Trippier – Trippier may not find his name on the front of a newspaper after England’s victory in the last game but without his presence, England’s attack will only get weak. His run on the flanks and the tendencies of taking a long shot can leave the goal keeper on his toes throughout the game. He is expected to lead as many attacks as he can from the wing in this game.
Harry Kane – The top goal scorer of this world cup and that too missing out on one match, Harry Kane is the man for England it seems. With the six goals he has scored so far in the tournament, he is already the favourite to win the Golden Boot award. He scores when England needs them and he is most likely to add to his goal tally in this game as well.
