Delhi Capitals snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in their last game against the Kings XI Punjab side. But some of the DC fans were quoted saying they didn’t know what to feel whether they have to be happy for the victory or should they rather feel sad about the fact that their premier spinner Ravichandran Ashwin left the field after what appeared to a shoulder dislocation.
Good news coming from DC camp in the form of Ravichandran Ashwin
Yesterday was a sad day for everyone associated with the IPL and infact everyone who were associated with cricket. The passing away of the legend of Australian cricket and present commentator for Star Sports Dean Jones passed away and everyone is in a state of shock.
The IPL has already been riddled with injuries like that of Mitchell Marsh in the first game and also as mentioned earlier, Ravichandran Ashwin. Now there’s good news coming from the DC camp is that the man from Chennai is likely to be available to take on his former team and home franchise the Chennai Super Kings.
Ravichandran Ashwin is match ready
The wily off spinner is a senior statesman and is among the core of Delhi Capitals players. He has been part of title winning teams of Chennai Super Kings and then went on to lead Kings XI Punjab but this season is with the Delhi capitals. He has given his fans the message that he is fit and raring to go via an Instagram post.
Fans of Ravichandran Ashwin were majorly worried when they saw the sight of the spinner with a sling in hand after their last match concluded. But then he came out to the presentation without the sling and that was an encouraging sign. Now the spinner himself has more or less confirmed that he is indeed fully fit and match ready in his latest Instagram post.
