Allan Saint-Maximin – The Frenchman signed for Newcastle last season and instantly became a favourite amongst the Geordies. His dribbling, pace and flair is very difficult to contain and will cause massive problems to Brighton. Though his debut season wasn’t laden with goals contributions, bagging 4 goals and managing 7 assists, he will look to break those numbers with more attacking options upfront, like Callum Wilson, Ryan Fraser, Jeff Hendrick and Miguel Almiron.

Leandro Trossard – Leandro Trossard has been excellent for the Seagulls and will aim at continuing the same for this season. Brighton’s attacking play with and without him is strikingly different as he adds a lot of pace and risky runs when he plays. He also bagged the lone goal against Chelsea on the first matchday. The 25-year-old does not fear any defender and takes them on, head-on.

Callum Wilson – After Bournemouth’s relegation, Callum Wilson joined Newcastle and begun life over there in style by scoring on his Premier League debut for them. Despite not being the best player or best forward, he is a trust-worthy figure in the squad and has been plying his trade consistently in the top flight of English football. In a better squad like Newcastle, Wilson will look to reach higher and score more goals this season.

Neal Maupay – Neal Maupay has been another shrewd purchase for Brighton and scored 10 goals last season, providing 3 assists. He has been playing some excellent football and often darts down the flanks to create chances for the forwards.

Andy Carroll – The veteran started his career at Newcastle before playing for West Ham and Liverpool and ultimately heading back to his boyhood side. Despite not fulfilling his potential, he is still a lethal target man in the box and if left unmarked, can punish Brighton. Playing alongside Callum Wilson, Steve Bruce will expect a lot of goals from that frontline.
