Earlier, England won the toss and opted to field first on a belter of a wicket. Pakistan started their innings on a rather disappointing note as their opener Fakhar Zaman was dismissed in the very 2nd over of the innings by Moeen Ali.

Haider Ali show all the way through

It was the 19-year old Haider Ali who steered the Pakistan innings with some aggressive stroke plays that was pleasing to the eyes. He scored a blissful 54 from 33 balls and helped his team reach a potentially match winning score.The veteran Mohammad Hafeez was in impeccable form as he top scored with a 52 ball 85 run knock.

This is the 2nd consecutive 50 for the 39 year old professor Mohammad Hafeez in as many innings in this series so far. He is showing his class in supreme style.
