St Lucia Zouks opener, Rahkeem Cornwall, took the Pakistan seamer Sohail Tanveer to the cleaners in the ongoing CPL 2020 on Thursday night. Known for his body size and brutal hitting, Cornwall scored 20 runs in Tanvir’s over including two 4s and two gigantic 6s, while he opened the batting for his side against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

Rahkeem Cornwall goes big, derails Sohail Tanvir

During the game between St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and St Lucia Zouks, Cornwall managed to provide an explosive start to the Zouks. Chasing a mediocre total, Cornwall showed his intent from the first ball of the innings as he scored 20 runs off Sohail Tanvir’s first over. Cornwall managed to hit two fours and two sixes to cap-off a brilliant first over.

During the chase, Sohail Tanvir bowled the very first over of the Zouks innings to start the proceedings. Rahkeem Cornwall was in no mood to waste time as he hit the very first delivery over the mid-on for a boundary. The next two deliveries were dots, but the 4th delivery was again sent to the boundary over the point. He hit a beautiful six by flicking off his pads on the 5th delivery and dismissed the last delivery over the long-off for the 2nd maximum in the over.
