The Caribbean Premier League has kicked off this week and the glitz and glamour of the T20 cricket has been restored with some Caribbean flavor in the aftermath of this global pandemic. 3 days and 6 matches into the tournament has shown what the league is all about and more of the entertainment is yet to follow.
Keemo Paul’s Corona awareness celebration
The current situation of corona virus has restricted the crowds to gather in the stadium to watch some entertaining T20 cricket. So when Keemo Paul took a wicket he decided to do a celebration in connection with the current situation by wearing a mask and maintain social distance.
It was during the 7th over in match number 4 between Guyana Amazon Warriors and St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots when this celebration happened. Keemo Paul came into bowl his first over after the conclusion of power play and struck in his 4th ball itself. Nick Kelly was the batsman who flashed a cut short on a back of a length delivery only to find Shimron Hetmyer stationed at backward point who pulled off a good catch. Keemo Paul then took out a mask from his pocket and wore it as a gesture of celebration as well as awareness. He also instructed his teammates to maintain social distancing but then ended up giving high-fi to them.

Back to back loss for the Patriots
Keemo Paul was the star of the show in what was a great bowling effort from the Guyana Amazon Warriors which helped them defeat the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. He ended up with figures of 4 for 19 in his 4 overs and eventually bagged the man of the match as Guyana chased down an easy target of 128 in 17 overs with Shimron Hetmyer top scoring with 71 from 44 deliveries.
It was a good win for the Warriors because they were also coming into the game on the back of a defeat. So that meant it was back to back losses for the Patriots and they need to get their act together to move up in the table.
