WATCH: Fielders collide but complete a brilliant catch at boundary

During the game between Jamaica Tallawahs and St Lucia Zouks, Rovman Powell held on to a stunner of a catch despite colliding with the fellow teammate on the boundary. Powell displayed a brilliant combination of skills and technique in the ongoing CPL while grabbing the ball on the boundary to dismiss the opposition batsman.
Rovman Powell’s brilliance dismissed Najibullah
The incident took place during the 15th over of St Lucia Zouks innings. Najibullah Zadran and Roston Chase developed a healthy partnership and looking to provide Zouks with a strong finish. Jamaica Tallawahs skipper handed over the ball to leggie Sandeep Lamichhane in search of a wicket. Zadran played a slog towards deep midwicket on the 2nd delivery of the over where Rovman Powell caught the Afghan batsman despite colliding with his fellow fielder Permaul. Powell lost balance after that clash with Permaul, however, he managed to cling on to the ball. The effort from Tallawahs’ skipper ensured the departure of Zadran to the dug-out as the partnership was getting dangerous.

Jamaica Tallawahs locked horns with St Lucia Zouks in the first game of the day two in the CPL 2020. Tallawahs’ skipper Rovman Powell won the toss and opted to bowl first. His bowling unit didn’t disappoint as Tallawahs made breakthroughs at the regular intervals and managed to contain Zouks to a total of 158/7 in 20 overs. Chasing the target, Tallawahs didn’t have to face much difficulties courtsey Glenn Phillips and Asif Ali. They completed the chase with 5 wickets in hand and 7 balls to spare.
Now Tallawahs would like to keep up their good form against the strong team of Trinbago Knight Riders on Thursday. Meanwhile, St Lucia Zouks would be searching for their first win in the competition agianst Barbados Tridents earlier on the same day.
