World XI Squad announced; Faf to lead, Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard to feature

The global superstars, Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard, have been named in the World XI side to play against Asia XI in a T20 series to commemorate the birth centenary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangladesh’s founding father. Faf du Plessis will lead World XI.

World XI Squad: Alex Hales, Chris Gayle, Faf du Plessis (C), Nicholas Pooran, Ross Taylor, Jonny Bairstow, Kieron Pollard, Adil Rashid, Sheldon Cottrell, Lungi Ngidi, Andrew Tye, Mitchell McClenaghan

The two T20Is will be played on March 18 and March 21 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.
