England swashbuckler Jos Buttler has made a reputation for himself in the limited-over formats of cricket. The wicket-keeper batsman has always been a fan of the IPL and has now called it the best T20 competition in the world. Buttler is of the opinion that the tournament would be an ideal platform to prepare for the T20 World Cup later this year.
Jos Buttler is being looked at as the indispensable asset in England’s white-ball setup. After having lifted the 50-over World Cup last year, Eoin Morgan’s England would be eyeing a double.

“I think the IPL has had as big an impact as any on my career. It’s an amazing place to learn and it is the best T20 competition in the world, all the best players playing against each other and you’re sharing a dressing room with past and present brilliant players,” said Buttler speaking to Sky.
“It is a place where you can learn so much, learn a lot about yourself and looking ahead to the T20 World Cup in the not-too-distant future, the IPL is a great platform to prepare at the highest level,” he added.

England are slated to play six more T20I fixtures ahead of the World Cup. However, Buttler and a few others will get the much-needed practice in the IPL 2020.
