Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ, a former Jamaican cricketer known for his fierce pace had represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001, captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He was best known for his opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years.
He is currently Playing in the Bushfire Bash 2020 from the Gilchrist XI side, captained by none other than Australian legend Adam Gilchrist under the coaching of Sachin Tendulkar.
As it Happened..
It all happened on the 4th ball of the 4th over of Ponting XI’s innings being bowled by Courtney Walsh to Ponting. Walsh tried to beat Ponting through his variation but in this process, he ended up bowling probably the worst ball of his cricketing career, his ball landed nowhere near batting crease & went all the way over the keeper towards third man position.Meanwhile Ponting also followed the ball & tried to get his bat on it. Here’s the Video of this Incident:
Most definitely not the finest ball Courtney Walsh has ever bowled ?#BigAppeal pic.twitter.com/Kbfv6AagRN
