NBA Key Players- HOU vs GSW
Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets – HOU vs GSW
Kevin Durant – The way things panned out last season, it was nothing short of a piece of a cake for the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA Championship in 2017. That’s why a lot of NBA fans, especially Oklahoma City Thunder’s supporters, called Durant a snake for joining Warriors and making them, even more, a formidable team. It was an easy decision for sure and after he won his NBA title so easily it put even more doubts about his claim to be the best of the current generation.
But this season could be a real test for him as Warriors are facing an elimination and if he manages to help his team to come out of this adversary than definitely, it will help him to etch his name amongst the current greats.
Stephen Curry – Since Stephen Curry made his long-awaited return in the last round against New Orleans Pelicans, Warriors have been scoring more points per game and the two-times NBA MVP’s contribution of 24.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game certainly helps the defending champions a lot in that regard.
James Harden – He is an MVP-elect this season and even if he can’t take his Houston Rockets into the NBA finals, Mr. Beard is still the best shot to win the biggest award at a personal level.
The 28-year-old Point-Guard is the only player this season to average points in the 30s, while he is scoring 28.4 points per game in the postseason so far.
Eric Gordon – With Chris Paul missing out on this match due to a hamstring injury which he suffered in the last game, it’s Eric Gordon who has to fill the void left by James Harden’s partner.
The 29-year-old Shooting Guard is Rockets’ 3rd best player in the playoffs and is racking up 14.7 points per game in the postseason.
