Just a few days ago, Indian skipper Virat Kohli had shared a strong workout video session where he was seen pulling off some extraordinary fitness moves and his fans went crazy. However, it seems that not only Kohli’s fans but his teammate @shreyas41 also got inspired by him and just this morning Iyer shared the same exercise on his Instagram handle.
Who did it better? @shreyas41 or @virat.kohli
Shreyas has posted an Instagram video where he was doing tough jumping squad during his workout session. He captioned the post, “127cm of air time #flyhigh”. Watch the post below.

A few hours passed, and the fitness grove put a story of his another exercise which he was pulling of alongside his teammate Rishab Pant. He tagged Pant, captioning “Some core work with @Rishabpant”.
Iyer fills the void of India’s No. 4 spot
Team India’s middle-order perhaps reached its crescendo during 2019 ODI World Cup when India had to see its demise after the semi-final match. Around 12 different batsmen were trialled to bat at number four but none of them was able to execute the responsibility and it ultimately became the key fact of team Indi’s fallout in World Cup.
Then came the Mumbai batsman, who not only is scoring runs for past seven months but Shreyas Iyer has been able to do all while batting at number 4. A consistent run through bat in past few months, which includes his 2 match inning half-centuries (while batting at no. 5) in 4 chances he has got during IND vs WI series and then his 108 runs in 3 matches with a strike rate of 183.05 during IND vs BANG T20I series earned him this spot in the team.
And Shreyas indeed never disappoints. Before leaning for the team’s tour of New Zealand, Iyer had an average of 45.85 in 8 ODI innings which include four half-centuries and 34.14 in 11 T20I innings. So now, India can take a sigh of relief and say that after Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, they have finally someone (Shreyas Iyer) who will sail their boat in difficult times.
