Bushfire Bash: Initiative by cricket fraternity
The Australian cricket fraternity has come up with a great initiative to raise funds for the damages inflicted by the massive fires. The great thing about this initiative is that legends and veteran cricketers from all over the world have decided to play their part for this good cause. Some of the massive names who have decided to take part in this competition include the likes of Brain Lara, Yuvraj Singh, Shane Warne, Ricky Ponting.
The rules have been modified and made flexible for the players to not feel much discomfort as the players who are taking part are all either retired or have passed their prime.
Some of the rules include a captain can use a substitute for a not out batsman during the innings. The match will be played in a T10 format.

New role for the god of cricket
The master-blaster from India Sachin Tendulkar will be donning the hat of a coach for one of the teams in the bushfire bash. Initially, there were rumours that Sachin might play in the league but later it was clarified that the little master will be sitting in the dugout and throwing some coaching tips for the other players who are playing the match. This will be Sachin’s first coaching stint, although he can be seen in the Mumbai Indians camp during every season of IPL as a mentor.
All in all one massive cricket carnival awaits for all the cricket fans.
