After getting beaten in the first T20I, India came out strongly against a tough Kiwi side at the Eden Park in the 2019 series. Krunal Pandya rolled his arm over to get three crucial wickets while Khaleel Ahmed bowled a tight spell to ensure the visitors restrict New Zealand to just 158 runs a good batting track. Colin de Grandhomme scored a quickfire 50, but it wasn’t enough. Stand-in captain Rohit Sharma came out firing with a knock of 50 as well while Rishabh Pant finished the job with his 40 as India reached the target with seven balls to spare. Krunal Pandya got the man of the match award for his efforts.
