He is set to become third fastest to this mark, just behind Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. He will be surpassing some of the greats of the game which includes Sourav Ganguly(228 innings), Sachin Tendulkar (235 innings) and Brian Lara (239 innings). Fans are expecting him to close down this record when he takes the field in the series decider at Bangalore on Sunday. Only Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are ahead of him in the list with 194 innings and 205 innings respectively.
Emphatic comeback by India at Rajkot
