CFC vs HYD Dream11 Match Prediction
CFC vs HYD Dream11: In a clash between the two bottom-placed teams, two-time Indian Super League (ISL) champions Chennaiyin FC take on Hyderabad FC at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in Hyderabad on Monday evening, with both the teams looking for the all-important win.
That said, the pressure is more on hosts, especially on head coach John Gregory, who may be on borrowed times as the manager of this club, to come good here and collect all three points in front of the home fans. Not only Chennaiyin FC props up the table, but they are the only team yet to win a game this season, and the only team yet to score a goal. It just can’t get any worse for the home team.
Hyderabad FC haven’t set the league on fire by any stretch of the imagination. They have been below average and pretty poor in two of the four games. It’s only the single “W” under their win column that makes a better reading about their performances on the points table. Phil Brown’s men have scored the joint second-fewest goals of any team in the league, and have conceded a whopping 10 goals in the first four games – the worst defensive record in ISL heading into this match.

Chennaiyin FC vs Hyderabad FC Team News:
Chennaiyin FC team news: Jeje Lalpekhlua remains out for the Marina Machans, and won’t be involved here. Gregory revealed that the 28-year-old is expected to return at the end of December. No other injury concerns for the hosts.
Head coach John Gregory also confirmed that Lallianzuala Chhangte and Anirudh Thapa will be involved in this game. The duo has had an underwhelming start to the new season and failed to make the cut in India’s team for the World Cup qualifiers.
Hyderabad FC team news:
Adil Khan has been ruled out of Hyderbad’s next game following an injury on national duty. The 31-year-old defensive midfielder is the only player on Hyederbad’s injury list ahead of this game.
Phil Brown confirmed that all the foreign players are available for selection for the away clash against Chennaiyin. It’s a piece of welcome news for the Nizams who missed a lot of players in the 0-1 home defeat against the NorthEast United before the international break.
“All the foreign players are available to us and my problem is whom to choose. Bobo has been out for a while and I have to make a calculated decision whether to start them (Bobo and Giles Barnes) or to make them effective from the bench,” Brown said.
Key players:
Dhanpal Ganesh could be critical here, as his positioning and the decision making in the midfield could stifle Hyderabad who loves to build up from the base in the midfield. Lallianzuala Chhangte has been average at best and will have a point to prove.
For Hyderabad, Marko Stankovic and Marcelinho will hold the key here. Both the players scored in Hyderbad’s 2-1 win over Kerala Blasters, and Brown will hope the same from the duo at the Marina arena.
