In the third clash of the Indian Premier League 11, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers by 4 wickets.
KKR captain Dinesh Karthik won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Going to bat first RCB set the target of 177 runs and KKR comfortably chased the target and registered a win over Virat Kohli’s team.
RCB lost the wicket of Quinton de Kock and got out after scoring 4 runs.
Virat Kohli and McCullum provided momentum to the team and Ab de Villiers came in to bat after McCullum got out after scoring 43 off 27 balls.
Kohli and de Villers together were taking RCB to a strong score but both of them were sent back to the pavilion after Nitish Rana claimed the successive wickets of both the batsmen of the RCB.
However, everyone watching the match got shocked when Nitish Rana got carried away and hurled abuse on Kohli after taking his wicket.
Such an instance where a young player used derogatory remarks for an experienced player left everyone disappointed but Virat Kohli showed his maturity on the ground and went back without responding to the bowler.
