ROM vs LCE Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups
AS Roma will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Lecce in Serie A this weekend at Stadio Comunale Via del Mare.
The Giallorossi fired Eusebio Di Francesco after his team failed to match the ambitions of the owners and Claudio Ranieri’s short term stay was not extended as the former Leicester City manager couldn’t steer the club back into the top-four last season.
All these are the indications of where the owners see the club should be in the league, and at the moment, the points table doesn’t even meet the minimum target.
Head coach Paulo Fonseca is already under pressure which must have gone a few notches above following the 0-2 defeat at home at the hands of rivals Atalanta.
Lecce, meanwhile, have the slight momentum behind them following two wins in the last three games.

Lecce Team News:
Panagiotis Tachtsidis, Cristian Dell’Orco, Gianluca Lapadula and Diego Farias all miss out on the home match against AS Roma due to their respective injuries.
Expect little or no changes from the hosts!
As we mentioned, Lecce recorded two wins in the last three games, which hauled them out of the bottom three. And considering manager Fabio Liverani has some injuries to contend with, he has no reasons to flirt with the playing 11 which won 1-3 at SPAL in the midweek.
Still, the manager could bring in a few fesh legs into the playing 11.
We expect the backline to remain unchanged, with Calderoni, Rossettini, Lucioni, and Rispoli featuring. But the midfield and the attacking positions could see a change or two.
Khouma Babacar was preferred over Diego Farias in the last game and the former did enough to get another start here.
Lecce Probable XI:
Gabriel (GK), Calderoni, Rossettini, Lucioni, Rispoli, Majer, Petriccione, Tabanelli, Mancosu, Falco, Babacar
AS Roma FC Team News:
AS Roma were hit with a fresh injury blow after Leonardo Spinazzola suffered an injury early in the second half against Atalanta in midweek. The 25-year-old former Juventus full-back will be missing the match against Lecce.
Roma will also be without another full-back in the form of Davide Zappacosta. While the likes of Cengiz Ãœnder, Diego Perotti, and Mert Cetin remain in the treatment room as they recover from their injuries.
Boost at the back!
Gianluca Mancini is back from suspension and should partner new signing Chris Smalling at the back.
With Spinazzola out, Alessandro Florenzi should move back to the right side of the defense.
Bryan Cristante and Jordan Veretout should once again form the base of the midfield, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan should get a start here. Justine Kluivert is also an option for the manager.
AS Roma Probable XI:
P. Lopez (G), Kolarov, Smalling, Mancini / Fazio, Cristante, Veretout, Mkhitaryan, Zaniolo, Pellegrini, Dzeko
Likely to score:
- For Lecce: Marco Mancosu, Filippo Falco, Khouma Babacar
- For AS Roma: Edin Dzeko, Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Suggested combination:
ROM vs LCE Dream11 potential winner:
AS Roma should at least get a draw here.
