SKN vs JAM Dream11 Match Prediction | Caribbean Premier League 2019 | St Kitts and Nevis Patriots vs Jamaica Tallawahs Match Preview

Fresh from defeats from their previous games, both St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots and Jamaica Tallawahs will be looking to register their first points on board as they confront one another for the first time this season in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Having played just the one game this season that too against defending champions the Trinbago Knight Riders, Jamaica Tallawahs sit at the fifth spot with a negative run rate.

Meanwhile, St. Kitts has played a match more than the Jamaica Tallawahs, but sit at the third spot in spite of their two losses due to a better ‘NRR’.

Head-to-Head:

Talking about the last five encounters between the two sides, it’s St. Kitts who have the upper hand with three wins to their name in comparison to Jamaica’s two.

Match Details:

This will be the seventh game of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2019, as the contest will be held at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts. The first ball will be bowled at 3:30 am IST on September 11.

St. Kitts & Nevis Team News:

For St. Kitts, it has been the batting which has let them down. Jason Mohammad, who is a seasoned campaigner in T20 cricket has scored a total of 4 runs in the first two games and may make way for Kerron Cottoy who’s handy with leg breaks as well.

St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots squad:

Evin Lewis, Rassie van der Dussen, Aaron Jones, Keron Cottoy, Kjorn Ottley, Laurie Evans , Shamarh Brooks, Fabian Allen, Carlos Brathwaite (C), Afif Hossain, Mohammad Hafeez, Dominic Drakes, Devon Thomas, Sheldon Cottrell, Rayad Emrit, Isuru Udana, Jeremiah Louis, Usama Mir, Akeem Jordan

Jamaica Tallawahs Team News:

With Jamaica Tallawahs having played just one match so far, it’s difficult to see them make a change as they would want to give their previously selected playing XI another shot.

However, with the 31-year-old Christopher Lamont conceding close to 40 runs in his three overs versus Trinbago Knightriders, a younger prospect in the form of Ramaal Lewis might be given the nod to roll his arm for some off-spin.

Jamaica Tallawahs Squad:

Chris Gayle, Javelle Glen, Derval Green, Steven Jacobs, Imran Khan, Christopher Lamont, Ramaal Lewis, Xavier Marshall, Glenn Phillips, Rovman Powell, Andre Russell, Shamar Springer, Jerome Taylor, Oshane Thomas, Chadwick Walton, George Worker, Zahir Khan

SKN vs JAM Dream 11 Fantasy Team:

The left-arm pacer, Sheldon Cottrell has taken four wickets in his two games and looks rhythmic as ever with the ball in hand. But it’s Fabian Allen who has surprisingly imposed himself more as a batsman with an average of 31 and strike rate of 190 and can still contribute by taking wickets with his left-arm spin.

Andre Russell is the man to not be left out in the shortest format of the game, and though his quickfire 44 with four boundaries and sixes each might have not won Jamaica their first game, he’s much likely to make an overall positive impact in the games to follow.

Not to forget that he’s a real asset with the ball in hand too. Though Chris Gayle failed to convert his 20 ball 28 into a big score in the first game, it’s only time before he gets to his belligerent best.
