Preview:
After being demolished by Oman in the first two matches of the tournament, both Papua New Guinea and Scotland would now lock horns in the 3rd game of 2019 Scotland ODI Tri-Series at Mannofield Park in Aberdeen.
Talking about PNG last fixture, they started well against Oman, thanks to a 77-run opening partnership but somehow inconsistency resulted in engraving only 229/8 in 50 overs. Although, it looked like a defendable total but Oman’s unbeaten 90-run partnership killed all the PNG hopes.
On the other hand, host Scotland was bundled out for 168 runs which were easily chased down by Oman in 45.1 overs with the loss of two wickets.
The match is set to begin at 3:30 PM IST.
