The player with best strike rate to be rewarded:
Rajeev Shukla while speaking in the press conference also announced that the player with the best strike rate in each IPL game would be rewarded and a Nexon car would be presented to the player to the player with over-all highest strike-rate in the tournament.
The BCCI has also announced that six captains of IPL franchises don’t need to attend the opening ceremony scheduled on April 7 owing to logistical issues.
Only skippers of the Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians would be attending the opening ceremony.
Reportedly, the eight captains would shoot a special video on April 6 and leave for their cities later in the evening.

The ICC has not used the DRS during the World Twenty20 editions yet, but it might use the DRS for the during the Women’s World T20, scheduled to be played in the West Indies later this year.
India was among the last countries to begin the use of DRS and adopted it for home games during the home Test series against England in 2016-17.
Last year, MS Dhoni was fined for breaching the code of conduct when he made the T-signal, appealing for review against Mumbai Indians despite knowing the fact that there was no DRS.
