Born on 28th January 1998, Tanuja belongs to the small town of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. She used to play cricket just for fun with her friends and siblings at home. Little did she know that one day this sports will become her passion and her career. Tanuja despite her immense love for this never stopped from learning and educating herself. She had studied till class 10th from Shimla’s Kannada and thereafter she resumed her studies in the Cricket Academy. She is currently pursuing the final year of her graduation from Amritsar College. Her She joined the Cricket Academy at HPCA’s Dharmashala in the year 2011.

She was the highest wicket taker among the seven top most bowlers from Himachal between 2017-2018 in the senior T-20 match series. Tanuja also bagged 17 wickets in the senior one-day series in 2016-17 while in the same year she took 15 wickets in Under-23 series.
