ALG vs NGA Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups
For whatever reasons the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations failed to live up to the hype, what is beyond a doubt that the remaining four teams will do everything to win the coveted trophy.
In one of the semi-finals, it’s a battle between two of the biggest teams in Africa as Algeria and Nigeria battle for a place in the final at Cairo International Stadium.

What they did to qualify for the semi-finals?
Algeria: For ages, the political unrest in Algeria thwarted the football team’s progress at the international stage. But the things are heading in the right direction of late, and it has had an impact on Algeria’s football team’s performance at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations as well.
With three wins, they topped the group and qualified to the knockout stage. A 3-0 win over Guinea made for an easy passage into the quarter-finals, and that’s where they faced their biggest opponent yet in this tournament.

The game was a fitting toast to both Ivory Coast and Algeria’s talent, but the latter ran their luck when it mattered the most as they went on to win the penalty shootout 3-4.
Nigeria:
This Nigeria team may not look anywhere near as talented as were the teams in the past, still, they have every reason to believe.
Two scrappy results in the first two games against not-so-powerful football nations, Burundi and Guinea, and a 2-0 defeat against Madagascar in the final group game left a lot to be desired from the three-time champions.
News from Eagles Camp: More Nigerians make cash pledge to boost @NGSuperEagles morale with two business moguls promising to give the team $50,000 dollars each for every goal scored against Algeria. #SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong #ALGNGA #TotalAFCON2019 pic.twitter.com/JH8LnkcUn5

That’s why the 3-2 result against Cameroon ion the round-of-16 came as a shock, while the 2-1 win over South Africa bucked that feeling to some degrees.
